The ProArt B850-Creator WiFi Neo motherboard is your value-focused entry point to a multi-GPU system

It’s funny how times change. Not that long ago, creative workloads relied first and foremost on CPU resources, and many professionals headed straight to the HEDT aisle for their essential PC components. While that hasn’t changed for all creatives, there is an increasing segment of the community that relies more on the specialized processing capabilities of graphics cards, especially when it comes to running AI models. To give these creators a value-focused approach for building a dual-GPU setup, we’re debuting the ProArt B850-Creator WiFi Neo.

Multi-GPU-ready expansion slots in a B850 motherboard

The starring attraction for the ProArt B850-Creator WiFi Neo is its pair of PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, which are capable of running in an x8/x8 configuration so that you can get the most out of a pair of next-gen graphics cards. While such support isn’t uncommon with higher-end motherboards like the ROG Crosshair X870E Glacial or with workstation-class motherboards, it’s far from standard with mainstream B850 motherboards.

For users with workflows that lean primarily on GPU resources, opting for a B-series motherboard with this PCIe lane configuration means that they can get everything they need and nothing that they don’t. Tempting options await in the AMD Ryzen 9000 Series CPU lineup, there’s ample support for PCIe graphics cards and solid-state drives, and with this platform you can take advantage of high-bandwidth, high-capacity DDR5 kits, too.

Enhanced support for DDR5 memory kits

The ProArt B850-Creator WiFi Neo supports your ambitions in many ways beyond its expansion slot configuration. For one, it offers excellent memory support.

As one of our latest AM5 motherboards, the ProArt B850-Creator WiFi Neo features a series of optimizations to our PCB design. Through features like an eight-layer motherboard design, we’re able to boost signal transmission reliability. That gives you wider access to larger capacities, higher frequencies, or both. We go the extra mile to give you support on the software side, as well. AEMP profiles make it easy to optimize memory performance, even with PMIC-restricted memory modules that do not provide an XMP or EXPO profile.

A streamlined building experience

We look at every generation of motherboard as a fresh opportunity to streamline the process of building a PC. The ProArt B850-Creator WiFi Neo paves the way for a smooth build with easy installation of SSDs and graphics cards. Even for M.2 SSDs of varying lengths, you’ll be to remove the dedicated M.2 Q-Release heatsink from each PCIe 5.0 slot, install your drives, and re-attach the heatsinks without needing a screwdriver.

As the heatsinks and backplates of graphics cards have gotten larger and thicker over the years, we’ve worked hard to replace the old, hard-to-reach plastic latch. The ProArt B850-Creator WiFi Neo includes PCIe Slot Q-Release, a physical lever that releases the graphics card from the slot so that you can safely uninstall it.

Once your computer is up and running, you’ll have a quick and easy experience getting it up to speed. We’re deploying a new EZ Mode interface for our award-winning UEFI that puts easy-to-read monitoring information and commonly used functions front-and-center. EZ Mode is now a one-stop interface for the UEFI functions used by the majority of our users. For easy first-time setup, we’ve also included Essential Mode. On this page, users will be able to view key system information and access the most commonly used overclocking functions, all without digging through menus that often require more expertise. If you need more granular control, Advanced Mode remains.

Setting up Windows will be faster, too, thanks to the doubled ROM capacity of the motherboard. The extra storage space not only gives us the ability to provide out-of-the-box support for the latest AMD CPUs, but it also allows us to include pre-installed WiFi drivers for a more streamlined experience as you install your operating system.

Ample connections for a creative workstation

A creative professional desktop PC often ends up connected to a wide range of peripherals and devices. You’ll find what you need in the ProArt B850-Creator WiFi Neo’s wide-ranging connectivity selection.

Starting with networking, this motherboard offers dual 5G Ethernet, giving you not only high-bandwidth wired networking but the ability to connect to an external device like network-attached storage or the Ascent GX10. WiFi 7 gives you reliable, high-speed, low-latency wireless networking, and you’ll have the latest Bluetooth 5.4, too.

The motherboard gives you plenty of display outputs, as well, even before you consider the options on your graphics card. The ProArt B850-Creator WiFi Neo’s USB 10Gbps port can drive up to an 8K display, and you’ll find DisplayPort and HDMI ports on the rear panel, as well.

For USB connectivity, you’ll find eight total USB ports on the rear panel, two of them versatile USB 10Gbps Type-C ports. The board offers the headers you need to connect two USB 5Gbps Type-A ports on your front panel, as well as a high-bandwidth USB 20Gbps Type-C port equipped for 30W USB Power Delivery. A USB4 header gives you even more options.

The ProArt B850-Creator WiFi Neo is your creative partner for multi-GPU systems

Look at the desktop PCs used by creative professionals and AI developers, and you’ll see incredible range. Some go all-in on the high-end desktop space with workstation-class hardware. Other systems rely on much more modest CPU processing power, leaning on a dual-GPU setup to deliver the specialized performance needed for their workflows.

The new ProArt B850-Creator WiFi Neo caters to the latter group of PC users. This motherboard gives you a value-oriented option that’s multi-GPU ready, loaded with connected, and prepped to give you a streamlined build experience. All this, and the motherboard is draped in our signature minimalist ProArt aesthetic that eschews RGB LED illumination in favor of professional good looks.
