The ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 delivers incredible AI performance and cooling in a compact 2.5-slot design

Without question, one of the big draws for top-of-the-line NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 5090 graphics cards is their AI performance. With 32GB of GDDR7, 21,760 CUDA cores, and the latest RTX innovations, these cards offer a dazzling 3352 AI TOPs. Yet many AI developers, professional creators, and small-form-factor PC enthusiasts — not to mention anyone who makes use of multiple expansion slots — need to have this chart-topping performance packaged in a slim design. To give these users the AI performance they need, we’re debuting our most compact variant of this graphics card yet: the ProArt GeForce RTX 5090.

Built with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series power

Powered by the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and DLSS 4, the ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 brings potent next-level performance to the table for gaming and content creation alike. As an NVIDIA 50 Series card, it gives you access to the full suite of NVIDIA RTX technologies. The latest breakthrough, DLSS 4, brings new Multi Frame Generation and enhanced Ray Reconstruction, Super Resolution, and NVIDIA Reflex 2 with Frame Warp.

The ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 stands out for its 32GB of GDDR7, the largest VRAM capacity available in the consumer graphics card market today. This large and speedy memory pool provides access to incredible possibilities when it comes to working with large language models, content creation projects with high-resolution assets, gaming at 4K, and more.

Potent cooling in a slim design

Even though PC gamers no longer harness multiple graphics cards in their PCs, creative professionals are still likely to put more than one card to work in their systems. In such a PC, a graphics card’s thickness is an important consideration, as an extra-beefy GPU cooling solution might prevent a builder from doubling their available VRAM by installing a second graphics card. Additionally, creators are more likely than others to populate their PCIe x16 expansions slots with add-in cards that boost their system’s capabilities or connectivity. To accommodate these specialized needs of creators, the ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card features a slimmed-down 2.5-slot design. It’ll even fit into many smaller PC cases, too, giving you broad compatibility with today’s most popular PC cases.

The top edge of the graphics card, showcasing its thin design

To ensure quiet cooling for this card’s top-shelf components, we’re debuting an all-new cooling design for the ProArt GeForce RTX 5090. It starts with liquid metal thermal compound on the GPU die. Liquid metal’s unique properties make it an incredible thermal interface material, as it’s capable of producing much lower temperatures than traditional thermal pastes. We apply this material through a patented production process that can safely harness its power.

A vapor chamber efficiently transfers heat from the MaxContact heatsink. Vapor chambers are a highly effective way to distribute heat laterally across the GPU baseplate and into the heatpipes. For boosted airflow through the fin stack, the ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 features a double-vented backplate with flow-through zones on both ends of the graphics card. Two fans keep the cooling air moving. For this model, we grabbed the Axial-tech fan design from the ProArt GeForce RTX 5080 and ProArt GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and beefed it up with larger 115mm fans.

Combined with its other cooling innovations, the ProArt GeForce RTX 5090’s double flow-through design offers approximately 11% better cooling efficiency and 27% smaller size, compared to single flow-through designs. For creators who need top-tier GPU performance in a compact design, there’s no better choice.

Versatility that caters to creators

Both creators and PC gamers use DisplayPort and HDMI ports for connecting displays, but creators often look for another connection type, as well. They routinely rely on USB Type-C connections due to their exceptional versatility, using them to hook up a portable display, or even several displays via daisy-chaining.

Motherboards like the ProArt X870E-Creator WiFi can make such a port available to creators via a DisplayPort In port on their rear I/O panel, but here’s another solution. The ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 features an integrated USB Type-C port that creators can use without any additional wiring or setup.

Sophisticated aesthetics for your minimalist build

One of the hottest trends in chassis design is the incorporation of natural wood elements. Peek at the top 100 best-selling PC cases on Amazon and you’ll see many such models. For a cohesive wood-themed aesthetic inside and out, you’ll need components that match the vibe.

The ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 meets the moment with a laminate trim on its rounded front edge that exudes class with its brown wood design, allowing you to have a complementary aesthetic for the inside and outside of your build. Indirect and minimal Aura Sync lighting makes sure that this elegant trim isn’t lost in shadow after your PC is up and running.

Optimize your experience with GPU Tweak III

For convenient monitoring and tuning of your GPU’s performance, check out our GPU Tweak III software. It gives you an in-depth look at your GPU’s specs and status and lets you easily adjust various processor parameters. Whether you want to change your GeForce RTX 5090’s performance mode or overclock it in a single click, GPU Tweak III makes GPU management a cinch.

We’re constantly improving this software. With the new, streamlined OSD Wizard feature, you’ll be able to easily customize the GPU Tweak III on-screen display (OSD) to your liking. That way, you’ll have the information you need in a format that suits your preferences. Switching to OC Mode boosts the GPU clock for smoother previews, faster renders, and more responsive creative workflows. And you’ll have wide-ranging control over power limits and fan curves so that you can get your preferred blend of GPU, thermal, and acoustic performance.

The ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 offers top-shelf performance and elegant aesthetics in a slim design

Draped in a sophisticated style that pairs perfectly with natural-wood chassis options, equipped for next-gen performance in AI, content creation, and gaming, and ready for high-level versatility with a USB Type-C port, the ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card is a perfect choice for minimalist builds with unbounded performance. Suitable not only for multi-GPU configurations, but also SFF-Ready builds and installations that require access to multiple expansion slots, this graphics card uses innovative cooling to bring high-level GPU performance into a slim design.
