* Update 6/24/2014

So our PCDIY build party is only a few days away. Soon 25 PCDIY enthusiasts will be crowding a small room to build, discuss, tweak and tune and enjoy the PCDIY experience. I have been busy trying to prepare a number of activities as well as work with our internal team on logistics. As part of this update I am excited to show something that all PCDIY attendees will be receiving a limited edition motherboard PCB. We internally call these blank boards. While they are part of designing and developing and  ultimately producing a motherboard our intended use is an awesome one. Throw some stand offs on one and you have a great foundation to do a test build on. For those of you not attending and excited about Z97 and the upcoming Devil’s Canyon cpus make sure to check out our upcoming build guides and our current and expanding PCDIY videos covering overviews and much more. For a PCDIY enthusiast looking to build a PC whether it be gaming, content creation, general productivity, HTPC or any other usage there is a board for you. Prior to our formal build guide getting released I have provide a small recommendation of a great mid range gaming build for those of you looking to kick off your builds.

It is a solid entry level gaming system focus at providing great gameplay experience at 1080 resolutions with medium to high settings. No CPU is included I would recommend you look to the newest CPU being relesed whether it be the 4970K or 4690K or the great entry level overclocker in the new Pentium anniversary sku.
