New ASUS Prime MR120 fans bring quiet cooling and modern style to desktop PCs

With more gamers and PC builders opting for glass cases to show off their hardware, we know the importance of making components that shine. That’s why we’re excited to introduce the new ASUS Prime MR120 case fans. They provide incredibly quiet and capable cooling performance within a gorgeous design that’ll easily style up your rig.

Stay frosty with thick fans

The MR120 is built to keep your hottest components healthy and keep your rig quiet. PWM control and a wide RPM range mean the MR120 will stay ultra-quiet when you’re doing lightweight tasks and crank up the cooling when it’s time to run demanding apps. But with a maximum 21 dB(A) of noise output, the Standard MR120 fan will keep unwanted sound at bay so you can enjoy uninterrupted aural bliss in your gaming sessions. The MR120 Reverse stays similarly hush-hush with a maximum 23 dB(A) output. That means if you want an interior-facing fan that emphasizes RGB, hides mechanical clutter from view, and keeps things quiet, we have a perfect option for you.

The MR120 achieves this delicate balance of low noise and effective cooling thanks to its thick 28 mm frame. This allows for wider blades and enables high static pressure to push air deep into the nooks and crannies of your system. The Standard MR120 fan’s 58 CFM of airflow and 1.7 mm H₂O of static pressure guarantee its ability to handle airflow resistance and cool components, preventing hotspot buildup inside your machine. The MR120 Reverse provides strong cooling performance as well with its 58 CFM and 1.38 mm H₂O static pressure rating.

Built to shine in any case

The MR120 fan features 20 addressable RGB LEDs and an exclusive double-layer LED Matrix design. Enjoy a ring of radiant light around the blades as well as a square of evenly emitted illumination on both sides of the fan frame. This means your fans’ colors will be on full display from every angle. And all these lights are Aura Sync compatible, so you can control their look and coordinate them with your other Aura Sync RGB components through our Armoury Crate software.

Three white Prime MR120 fans lined up together

Both the Standard MR120 and MR120 Reverse come in black and white so you can grab the color that suits your case best. No matter what kind of rig you have, there’s an MR120 variant that’ll fit your PC’s unique needs.

Level up your fan game alongside a snazzy new chassis

You can grab the Standard MR120 fan in either single packs or triple packs. The same goes for the MR120 Reverse; you can buy either one or three units at a time. So if you want these stunning spinners shining up your existing rig and its case, that’s an option.

A completed PC build featuring the Prime MR120 fans and the Prime AP202 chassis

Alternatively, if you’re keen on upgrading more than just fans, check out our latest panoramic glass cases. The angular TUF Gaming GT502 Horizon ARGB comes with MR120 fans preinstalled, meaning you’ll get their glow factor inside an industrial-futuristic case with glass side and front panels that perfectly show off your luminous internals.

If you want the ultimate in svelte, smooth design, opt for our ASUS Prime AP202 ARGB case, which also packs MR120 fans. It features one curved glass panel that wraps around the front and side of the case, giving onlookers an unobstructed view of what’s inside. Should you want your RGB fans’ lights to glide along glass and be the star of the show, the AP202 ARGB is the chassis to go with.

The ASUS Prime MR120 fans should start hitting shelves in mid-June. For information about pricing and availability in your region, please contact your local ASUS representative.
