The last time we offered an ROG mini PC, the Resident Evil series was going first-person for the first time, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was hooking us on the battle royale genre, and Larian Studios was releasing an RPG so good that they were entrusted with creating a sequel for one of gaming’s most beloved franchises. Much has changed since then – and we’re thrilled to bring our latest designs to bear as we take the world of gaming mini PCs to the next level.
The ROG NUC is less than 2.5L in size, about a quarter the size of typical Mini-ITX cases. Its short profile lets it fit easily underneath standard PC displays. For situations that call for a different orientation, we include a sturdy stand that holds it vertically instead. Whether you’re installing it on a dorm room desk, in your living room entertainment center, or in the esports lab at an educational institution, it’ll fit in comfortably.
To make it easy for you to pop in your chosen RAM and storage devices, we designed the ROG NUC inside and out for tool-free installation. The chassis opens with an easy mechanism, and the M.2 slots use our M.2 Q-Latch system so that you can easily secure or remove drives without the need for a screwdriver – or taking the risk of losing a fiddly little screw into the bottom of the case.
ROG’s signature charcoal hues and angular surfaces give the ROG NUC a gaming-first personality that stands out from the rest of our NUC family. Aesthetically, it’s a great fit with our full lineup of ROG displays and peripherals. An RGB LED illuminated ROG logo gives you an easy way to customize the look of your ROG NUC, and it’s Aura Sync-ready so that you can synchronize its lighting with the rest of your compatible gear.
The ROG NUC delivers powerful performance for gaming and more
Despite its small size, the ROG NUC boasts a stunning array of gaming-first hardware. With up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, you’ll have outsized performance ready for any game in your library. The ROG NUC feeds these chips with plenty of power: the processor is a 45W unit, while the GPU has 115W at its fingertips, with another 25W available through Dynamic Boost. That TGP puts it on par with how we configure those chips in our most powerful gaming laptops.
The ROG NUC doesn’t take a back seat with storage or memory, either. With three PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, you’ll be able to build a spacious and speedy gaming library. It supports up to 64GB of DDR5-5600 RAM in its two SO-DIMM slots. With that much power available in such a small device, you might be tempted to put the ROG NUC to use for more than gaming. Its plentiful processing resources stand tall in content creation and AI workloads – this might be the compact all-around PC that you’ve been waiting for.
Exceptional connectivity with the ROG NUC
The ROG NUC also stands tall when it comes to connectivity. In this compact device, you’ll find plenty of next-gen options for hooking up your full battlestation. Between its HDMI 2.1a port, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, and Thunderbolt 4 US Type-C port, you’ll be able to directly connect up to four displays. 4 USB 10Gbps ports and 2 USB 2.0 let you attach a fleet of peripherals – and, of course, that versatile Thunderbolt 4 port gives you options that go far beyond connecting a display.
