For many businesses and educational institutions, Chrome OS devices make a lot of sense. They set up in no time, they’re easy to manage, and they’re easy to use. Our Chromebox lineup puts the convenience of Chrome OS on the desktop with space-saving designs that offer outsized versatility. Today, we’re adding a new member to the family: the ASUS Chromebox 5 (CN67).
Equipped with a Thunderbolt 4 port and a built-in wireless charger, this computer combines exceptional features with a contemporary design. A Red Dot Design Award winner, the Chromebox 5 features a slim chassis that houses an efficient thermal solution for reliability, along with a 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 processor, up to 32 GB of RAM, and Intel Iris® Xe graphics.
Loaded with connectivity
The Chromebox 5’s Thunderbolt 4 port brings Thunderbolt connectivity to USB-C® at speeds of up to 40 Gbps, along with DisplayPort 1.4 support and USB Power Delivery. It’s even compatible with USB4® to create one compact port that does it all — delivering the fastest, most versatile connection to any dock, display, or data storage device.
Increasingly, today’s workers rely on multiple displays to boost their productivity. The ASUS Chromebox 5 can support up to four 4K monitors via its two HDMI ports, DisplayPort 1.4 port, and Thunderbolt 4 port, making it ideal for multi-display setups in offices and schools, as well as retail and food and beverage settings such as stores and restaurants.
Always-handy wireless charging
The Chromebox 5 is the first Chromebox to feature an optional integrated 15-watt Qi-certified wireless charger. It allows users to charge supported devices such as smart phones and earbuds simply by placing them on the top cover. This allows users users to charge compatible smartphones and tablets without the need for cumbersome cables. This Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) Qi-certified charger meets the highest standards of quality and performance for fast and efficient charging. The Foreign Object Detection (FOD) feature ensures safe charging and protects devices by deactivating the charger when non-compatible hardware is detected.
Convenient deployment options
The Chromebox 5 is so compact and lightweight that your organization can deploy it just about anywhere. We designed this diminutive computer to make that process easy. Its chassis can be stood on its side, laid flat, or VESA-mounted on a vertical surface, allowing ASUS Chromebox 5 to be used in a variety of environments, including schools, offices, and retail.
Upgrade to simplified IT management
The ASUS Chromebox Enterprise 5 offers intuitive IT management for businesses and educational institutions via an optional upgrade to Google Chrome Enterprise. IT administrators can use Google Admin Console to easily manage and monitor a fleet of ChromeOS devices from a single dashboard. Plus, the Chromebox Enterprise 5 provides multilayered defense to ensure that confidential data and other information remain secure.
