Thunderbolt 4 and wireless charging set apart the ASUS Chromebox 5 and ASUS Enterprise Chromebox 5

For many businesses and educational institutions, Chrome OS devices make a lot of sense. They set up in no time, they’re easy to manage, and they’re easy to use. Our Chromebox lineup puts the convenience of Chrome OS on the desktop with space-saving designs that offer outsized versatility. Today, we’re adding a new member to the family: the ASUS Chromebox 5 (CN67).

Equipped with a Thunderbolt 4 port and a built-in wireless charger, this computer combines exceptional features with a contemporary design. A Red Dot Design Award winner, the Chromebox 5 features a slim chassis that houses an efficient thermal solution for reliability, along with a 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 processor, up to 32 GB of RAM, and Intel Iris® Xe graphics.

The Chromebox 5 is the first Chromebox to feature an optional integrated 15-watt Qi-certified wireless charger. It allows users to charge supported devices such as smart phones and earbuds simply by placing them on the top cover. This allows users users to charge compatible smartphones and tablets without the need for cumbersome cables. This Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) Qi-certified charger meets the highest standards of quality and performance for fast and efficient charging. The Foreign Object Detection (FOD) feature ensures safe charging and protects devices by deactivating the charger when non-compatible hardware is detected.
