Cutting-edge IoT products
Our AIOT business group delivers industrial motherboards, single-board computers, fanless systems, and AI accelerator modules to our partners who need compute solutions. We provide the computer and AI model building blocks in ready-to-deploy subsystems, and we also offer models that can facilitate system integrators or OEMs as they provide a complete systems solution.
One example is the Azure Percept DK and Audio, a development kit developed jointly with Microsoft and Intel. The purpose of this AI development kit is to allow engineers without much AI expertise to put together an AI Proof-of-Concept to evaluate the viability of an AI related project. The development kit includes the compute hardware from ASUS, an AI accelerator ASIC from Intel to process images from the camera, and Microsoft Azure Percept Studio. Once the system is provisioned and connected to the Azure cloud, engineers can quickly pick an AI model from the model library and push it down to the development kit to demonstrate a particular use case. I/O control and model improvements can be enhanced and trained quickly using Azure IoT Edge and Azure Percept Studio development platform. Once the POC is validated, engineers can scale the POC by picking the right hardware and AI model for the final application development and deployment.
ASUS IoT also offers complete fanless systems that are usually deployed as Edge controllers, gateways, or Edge AI systems. Supported CPUs include x86 desktop CPUs, mobile CPUs, ATOM, and ARM processors for different applications. With their fanless design and wide voltage and temperature support, these systems fit a broad range of industrial applications. Additionally, their expansion slots can support AI accelerator cards. These are system level solutions with UL and RF certification, so systems integrators or OEMs can integrate these system level solutions easily without having to go through additional system validation and certification in some use cases.
