The all-new Zenbook Duo reimagines the dual-screen laptop

Nothing lets you do more with your laptop than a second display, and nobody has done more to bring the promise of a dual-screen laptop to life than us. We’ve got the receipts to back that statement up, too. Our original ScreenPad and ScreenPad 2.0 turned the humble touchpad into a multi-purpose touchscreen. The ZenBook Pro Duo, first-gen Zenbook Duo, and ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 upped the ante with the roomy ScreenPad Plus, secondary displays that spanned the full width of the laptop. The innovative Zenbook 17 Fold OLED shattered boundaries with a folding 17-inch display and a detachable keyboard. Now, we’re ready to raise the bar again with the all-new Zenbook Duo. Featuring not one but two full-size OLED displays, a built-in kickstand, and great performance with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU, this is our most versatile laptop yet for everyone who needs a portable multi-monitor setup.

Two gorgeous displays in one device

As a hybrid of the original Zenbook Duo and the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED, the next-gen Zenbook Duo creates new possibilities for how you work, play, and relax on the move. Instead of a traditional keyboard deck, the Zenbook Duo has two ASUS Lumina OLED touchscreens connected with a high-durability hinge.

These 14-inch displays bring a touch of luxury to your daily computing with their richly detailed 2.8K resolution, fluid 120Hz refresh rate, and TÜV-certified low blue-light and flicker-free tech. With their 550-nit peak brightness and infinite contrast, they offer crisp, readable text and vivid colors even in environments with plenty of natural light, and they offer 100% coverage of the cinema-grade DCI-P3 color gamut for vibrant, saturated colors.

Each display is delightfully slim – when you fold up the Zenbook Duo, it’s a mere 0.78” thin. And since it’s only 3.3lbs (3.9kg with the keyboard), it won’t weigh you down when you’re on the move. We fit a spacious 75Wh battery into this slim device to let you do more when you’re away from the outlet.

The Zenbook Duo creates endless possibilities

The versatile built-in kickstand allows you to use the Zenbook Duo’s two screens in a surprising number of ways. In Dual Screen Mode, you have several possibilities. With the detachable full-size ErgoSense keyboard and touchpad on a desk in front of the Zenbook Duo and connected via Bluetooth, you have two screens and your usual inputs, all at your fingertips. In this orientation, you can use the kickstand to raise the rear panel of the Zenbook Duo up significantly for a comfortable viewing angle.

Intuitive software makes it effortless to use the Zenbook Duo even without the detachable keyboard. The virtual keyboard and touchpad let you take advantage of both screens in Laptop Mode with quick access to these familiar inputs whenever you need them. A simple gesture system lets you pull up the utilities you need when you need them, including a handwriting panel, Number Key, Quick Key, and Control Panel.

There are times when you might prefer the familiar comforts of a clamshell-style notebook. In the Zenbook Duo’s Laptop Mode, you have just that. Snap on the included detachable keyboard and touchpad with its integrated magnets, and you’re ready to go. The keyboard connects and charges via pogo pins when it’s attached to the Zenbook Duo, so it can top off its own battery whenever you use it – no extra cable required. You can also hook up a charger to the USB Type-C port on the keyboard to recharge it directly.

Open wide

Perhaps you’d like a desktop-style experience instead? That’s easy. Open the Zenbook Duo to its full 180° and prop it up in landscape orientation with the integrated kickstand. Pop off the ErgoSense keyboard and set it on your desk in front of the Duo, and you have a workstation that competes with many desktop setups, but in a package that you can fold up in put in your laptop bag. In this orientation, you have the equivalent of a 20.5-inch display with a 20:16 aspect ratio in a landscape orientation, or two separate 14-inch 10:16 displays in portrait orientation.

With the Zenbook Duo fully opened, you can also take advantage of Presentation Mode. With both screens lying flat, it’s easy to present content with a small group of colleagues and coworkers. In this mode, you can also use the Zenbook Duo as a large, powerful, tablet with two gorgeous displays.

In any of these modes, you can take advantage of a stylus for drawing, handwriting input, and more. The Zenbook Duo has 4096 pressure level stylus support so that you can easily create the finest lines and broadest brush strokes with a stylus like the ASUS Pen 2.0.

The Zenbook Duo’s next-level versatility empowers you to do so much more no matter where you go, and its high-performance components ensure that you’re only limited by your imagination. Make a connection

Wide connectivity options make it a breeze to connect your full PC setup. A pair of versatile Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C™ ports offer blazing-fast file transfer speeds, an easy way to connect an external display, and charging capabilities for your other devices. You’ll find a handy USB 5Gbps Type-A port, too, and an HDMI 2.1 port ready to connect to a wide range of monitors.

For ultra-fast wireless networking, the Zenbook Duo offers WiFi 6E. When paired with a compatible router, it can use the wide-open 6GHz band for a high-speed, low-interference connection. For your wireless peripherals, the Zenbook Duo is also equipped with Bluetooth 5.2.

A smart webcam setup provides a host of everyday conveniences. The Full HD IR camera lets you log in at a glance with Windows Hello. The integrated time-of-flight sensor can dim and/or lock the display when you’re not in front of the screen for improved battery life and data privacy, while the ambient light sensor can automatically adjust screen brightness to best fit your environment.

Sustainable and durable

In recent years, we’ve accelerated our efforts to increase the sustainability of our business practices and products. The Zenbook Duo integrates some of our latest eco-friendly solutions. For this machine, we’re targeting the requirements of an EPEAT Gold certification by incorporating sustainable materials in the product and its packaging. The chassis is constructed of 90% post-industrial-recycled magnesium-aluminum alloy, and the laptop ships in FSC™ Mix certified packaging.
